HOVER ACROSS THE IMAGES BELOW | WHAT BEST DESCRIBES YOU?
reader--- writer--- bookstore--- booktown--- library--- publisher--- service provider

By sharing information, we connect a global community through author events, bookstores events, publishing requests, library activities, book fair events, book villages, writing programs, literary nonprofits, literary theaters, book distributors, literary agents, reading rooms, book drop-off-points, editors, copywriters, bloggers, reading groups and more.

BEHIND THE DOTS

All the mini websites you can browse "behind the dot" are generated fully automatic and fully responsive. The look and feel is adaptable, and depends on the completeness of the info that was added. If specific data was not filled out, the design will automatically adjust so no need for any coding.

We currently feature a light theme and a dark theme. It's possible to add one fitting front image and one background image. Also one YouTube video, relevant social media links, and events and books. It's possible to hook up your own google calendar or else the events you created for our map will show up.  The books you would like to sell can be direct links to your own webshop or links to your favorite online store(s). You can even hook up an array of affiliate links!

Your mini website will run secure as  username.literaryglobe.com, so it's important to choose your username wisely. If you like what you see, you can even run it on your own domain.

Goodbye 3D Globe...

When we started building literaryglobe.com we had an actual 3D globe with dots on it. However, we had to let go of this idea because it was to futuristic even for the time we are in. It runs very difficult or sometimes not at all on a lot of older computer systems or phones. It also took a long time to load and initialize. Maybe we will re-instate this tech in the future, but for now a 2D map will have to suffice.
